I’ll be Brave, Tomorrow is a narrative platformer about a child in hospital, who finds escapism through a 2D pixel art platformer they can play on the TV in their room. Within this 2D platformer, you play as a Robin who has to learn how to fly in order to find their family. As the game unfolds, the line between reality and game blur, and you will find familiar faces within the hospital start to appear in game! Within the hospital room, there are also minigames for the child to enjoy to take their mind off their treatment. Race around the room in an RC car, listen to music on your music player, or through paper aeroplanes into the bin just to name a few! Based upon our creative directors own experiences in hospital as a child, I’ll be Brave, Tomorrow is an exploration into the use of video games as a form of escapism for children during difficult times.
